Job Description

Department: Center for Continuing Education 

Reports to: CCE Director & GATES Consulting Director

Scope and Purpose:

  • Contributes to the overall strategic direction of CCE including identifying target markets, creating marketing plans, with a focus on AUK-CCE-GATES (ACG) JV products & services.
  • Be a part of the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies for CCE & GATES programs and courses, this may involve organizing programs and events such as free seminars, trade shows, art exhibits, theatre productions and cultural festivals, all designed to improve public relations and awareness clients.
  • Develop relationships and network to acquire new leads and maintain existing clients, with a focus on the healthcare sector.
  • Represent the center appropriately when meeting with customers.
  • Ability to open leads and sell management consulting services under the scope of the ACG JV
  • Prospecting for the new customers (friends, phone calls, newspapers...).
  • Call new corporate and fix up a meeting with the decision makers.
  • Prepare all documents and materials for the meeting.
  • Prepare and give presentation to corporate management and make sure the company is projected correctly.
  • Call existing customers and follow up with them to sell our training programs.
  • Call new customers and invite them to the center and provide them with the learning solutions to enroll them in CCE programs.
  • Maintains students/corporate database & register students on the Banner system
  • Delivers bilingual (English and Arabic) programmatic information and services, as well as registration support to a wide range of public & corporate clients
  • Provides information and processes registrations from the public, and current and returning Center for Continuing Education students and advises them regarding program/course appropriateness, availability, and registration, billing, and payment options; in-person, over the telephone, by fax and via email
  • Ensures that contacts are accurately tracked and followed up in a timely and effective manner with information provided being accurate and appropriate
  • Plays an integral role in the success of Center for Continuing Education sales and marketing processes by contacting and responding effectively to potential, current and past students, and clients in order to generate course registrations
  • Supports and assists Center for Continuing Education participation in events such as information nights, open houses, trade shows and education fairs
  • Participates in activities associated with the promotion of the University and Center for Continuing Education
  • Maintain updated account profile from CRM system.
  • Send a sales proposal for the corporate and discuss it with them.
  • Follow up with the corporate to send the confirmation and discuss it with them.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Enroll customers by convincing them to select our programs by emphasizing our strengths & advantages.
  • Handle customer objections.
  • Update the clients’ records of new contacts or information.
  • Follow the sale system and policies of CCE and issue invoices to corporates.
  • Follow on the collection of the closed deals.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required Business Administration or any related field
  • Continued Education, demonstrated commitment to continued education and professional development

Experience:

  • 7+ Years of Sales or marketing experience, with focus on training programs and consulting services
