Scope and Purpose:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Women's Basketball Part-Time Coach to lead our team of female basketball players in training, strategizing, and competing in games.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement training programs to improve players' skills and performance.
- Create game strategies and tactics to ensure success during competitions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to players on and off the court.
- Attend games, practices, and team meetings as required.
- Monitor players' progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to coordinate team activities.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor degree in physical education.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience playing or coaching basketball, preferably at the collegiate level.
- Strong knowledge of the game of basketball and coaching techniques.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Certification in coaching or relevant field is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in basketball coaching techniques and strategies.
- Ability to effectively communicate instructions and provide constructive feedback to players.
- Demonstrated experience in developing players' skills and enhancing their performance.
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations of basketball to ensure compliance during practices and games.
- Excellent organization and time management skills to plan and schedule practices effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire players to work towards team goals.
- Ability to collaborate with other coaches, staff, and players to create a positive and supportive team environment.
- First aid and CPR certification to handle any potential injuries or emergencies during practices or games.
